One of LA’s premiere public radio stations, KPCC, had smart programming, a love for their loyal community of listeners, and, at the time we met, an impressive new mobile app. What they didn’t have was an in-house marketing team with the time or capacity for the market positioning, campaign strategy or creative development that would inspire people to download it.
Redbird loves public radio and so we were only too happy to help. We developed a campaign to promote the app called Smart. Sound. SoCal. Our strategy focused on Facebook and KPCC member channels to raise awareness for the product and generate downloads. We delivered a complete marketing strategy, all campaign creative and a promotional video featuring popular comedian Alonzo Bodden.
