When Exploratorium hired Redbird to bring its content “beyond the walls,” they had two objectives in mind: First, extend the Exploratorium’s hands-on education style to families around the world. Then, generate greater corporate sponsorship revenues as a result of these larger audiences.
Our flagship program, “Science of Baseball,” is a powerful multi-year, multi-platform program with one central goal: To spark an interest in science among as many kids as possible through a familiarity with and love of America’s favorite pastime. The heart of the program is a gamified mobile app — starring program partner Buster Posey — in which kids learn physics through hitting, pitching and sliding. Talk about a home run!
